The current version of e-gcc does not link to the e-lib by default, so you must add the "-le-lib" option to your command line. In Eclipse you can add it in Project Properties -> C/C++ Build -> Linker -> Libraries (just add "e-lib" to the list).
make sure that you have the Epiphany-related header files in "$EPIPHANY_HOME/tools/e-gnu/epiphany-elf/sys-include" and the "libe-lib.a" library at "$EPIPHANY_HOME/tools/e-gnu/epiphany-elf/lib". Also, make a symlink at the same place, named "libelib.a", for backward compatibility.
All that said, we strongly recommend following the Hello-World example from the examples directory instead of the template application.
The Eclipse plugin was developed a long time ago, with a different system and workflow available. There are no short term plans to update the plugin.
