epiphany driver source

Postby jfdawson20 » Tue Dec 15, 2015 7:11 pm

Hey All,
Three (hopefully quick) questions:

1) I have my parallella board up and running with the latest linux distribution I downloaded from the parallella.org website.
% uname -a
% Linux parallella 3.14.12-parallella-xilinx-g40a90c3 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 23 22:01:51 CET 2015 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux

when looking at the github account I see there are three linux directories, which one is the distribution listed above built from?

2) where is the epiphany driver source code located? I looked into the drivers folder under parallella-linux and didn't see anything that looked like a match.

2.a) I read that the older version of the sdk utilized mmaping through /dev/mem to facilitate arm to epiphany communications so I assume the fact that the newer linux
distribution has a epiphany device file automatically created on startup that there is actually a kernal driver being used?

Thanks!
