Have problem with setting up openvpn

Postby yunkpoon2 » Fri Nov 21, 2014 12:41 pm

Hello everybody, I would like to setup a openvpn on my parallellaboard (headless). After a few hours effort, I finally generate my keys and set up openvpn. However, I can't start it! The error tell me that the tun device is missing.

Then I try to find out why. Here is the web I found to guide me to solve this problem.
https://gist.github.com/rc0r/47a45e4c541e02c7e539

Two problems come:
1. After I have finished Headless Configuration part and reboot, I fail to boot up my board.
It doesn't matter. I believe it is the problem of deviceTree file. So I put the ordinal deviceTree file in the boot partition. It boot up again.

2. After I have finished Kernel Configuration for TUN/TAP device support, I fail to boot up my board Again!!!

So I check another post for the building a parallella linux kernel. And it gives me the same result.

Could anyone help me or give me a hint? Thank you
