Binary adaptive concept

Supposing that you have already thought about this i'll try to explain as better as i can a concept that may be hard work but may solve porting problem
Can epiphany architecture be used as a discovering architecture device?
Mean: i was dreaming about a software that is designed for asking/testing the hardware basic binary function and retrieve the structure of the hardware (and, or, nand, nor, move, ecc...)
Any previous concept of this?

Just a thought that if developed may prove epiphany power and solve compiling porting process.
