I did read it, but you didn't read mine about the Multi-project wafers in order to get costs down for our particular project so we would not have to come up with multi-millions in capital.

As I said, it's about $1.8M for 10,000 units of a 125mm^2, 14nm processor using a MPW run. 10,000 units is approximately the scale of the Parallella project. Those are the numbers.

The only exception to those numbers would be if someone already paid for the MPW mask set and wasn't interested in recouping the investment. Then you would only pay the marginal cost for addition wafers.

The Epiphany V uses a 16nm process.

And I have already said also, if we could get on a Multi-project wafers process with other projects, there is a possibility of getting that 10 million unit pricing. While we won't have 10 million processors done, but maybe 500,000 out of that multi-project wafer job, it would be great just to get started. Then we can obtain that $10 a chip pricing. It would less cost since you are presenting price figures on a 14nm process.

seeing '$10/chip' has me drooling, imagining 16 chip boards.. that would be 1gb of on chip memory (I should ask about the number of dead-cores, still it's going to be that ballpark).

However, a $100m kickstarter sounds rather far fetched.

Is not a single person paying any attention? I am not sure where people getting those hundred of million price tag after I presented information which suggests a possibility of a 5 million crowd funding project. No wonder this is dead a dead device.

Your math seems to be a lot off. Using your own figures of $10 each, 50,000 units would be $500,000, not $5 million.
