I'm really enthusiastic about writing some programs using all the cores but where do I start? Can anyone suggest a good book about parallel processing?

I am interested in this as well. I had seen a list of books/tools posted somewhere in the Parallella site, but I cannot find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Adapteva mentioned a book in their Kickstarter project (see reward level $25): "An Introduction to Parallel Programming" to be written by the Adapteva team. The book will be provided in PDF form and will include source code examples of parallel programs that use OpenCL, OpenMP, Erlang, and MPI.
