I have downloaded the according to the short guide in this presentation

Then I booted the Parallella in hope there will be an FPGA design and compiled gnuradio block to interface ADC through FPGA pins.
(The image has corrupted the Ethernet configuration. Therefore, I need to use the serial console to fix it)

But unfortunately, there is no gnuradio software in that image nor FPGA design files.

Have I missed something, or it is a correct fact?
Where should I obtain the best starting point FPGA design and source code for gnuradio with ADC and FPGA interface?

Seems to be very quiet here.

There's been nothing from hewittc about his build.

On the myriadRF () site there are pictures of a completed daughter card but it seems like the developer (brenna) ran into difficulties and there has been nothing since. They at least got something going with GNU Radio. Maybe you could get in touch with them and lend a hand.

I am following the Parallella and see it as ideal for several SDR applications. There were some initial rushes of projects and developments but for many months this has gone quiet.

I am really interested in the ports of gnu radio using all cores, and interfacing of SDR daughter cards or off board SDR receivers on to the Parallella

I dropped my camera into the solder paste and lost some of the definition around the resistor arrays as well as the Samtec connectors. I just wiped off the paste around the Samtec connectors for now. The hot air nozzle I used also seemed to make three of the smaller components stand on end. I'll patch those up once I have a proper stereoscopic microscope to work with. If you plan to do this yourself, it's probably not the best idea to pick and place at 3:30 in the morning.

Andreas was kind enough to send me a couple Parallella-RF boards. I just finished sourcing all the parts for the build and will populate the boards soon. The only somewhat difficult to obtain parts are the Rakon VCTXCOs, which require conferring with a sales person at Rakon. They do provide engineering samples, however. It also looked like the green LEDs were end of life and not available from element14 but I found some yellow LEDs from the same family that were in stock and I bought the last four in stock.



Consider this thread as a build log and journal for the board bring-up!

I've read all the posts in this subsection and it seems like GNURadio has been made to work utilizing the Zynq chip but as far as I can tell no progress has been made on using Epiphany in GNURadio.

Are there any other open source SDR projects that have successfully made use of Epiphany?
