What a lovely TTY; delux version with built-in bunch+reader. We had one like that as well, but it was for the Clever Guy!
Thanks for creating the "Just for Fun" Forum - and can I suggest that you (or allow others) to create "Sub-Forums' for individual and specific "Projects", like "Chess on Parallella", as otherwise it become a totally messed-up Forum with multiple scattered Topics.

We used a "Mandlebrot" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandelbrot_set - program to show the benefit of Multiple Transputers/DSPs. It was easy and impressive. Maybe add another "Sub-Forum" for that and see if one of the Clever Guys can develop a demo of that and provide the sources, etc. It would be a good "Hello World" demo.

In another Century, I was learning to program on a Nova - – and one of clever guys was developing a Chess program. The output was to a paper TTY terminal and every move had to be entered on the front-panel. What fun
One day, I promised myself, I would be that clever and develop a Chess program, but… - never did! I did help with the playing and used dozens of paper-rolls from the TTY.
I noticed this today - – and thought….
Maybe one of the clever guys could develop a Chess for Parallella and I could start to play Chess again. Maybe the Board Administrator could create a Forum for “Chess on Parallella” and see if anybody can beat the FPGA implementation. It could be “Epiphany vs Zynq” on a Parallella and output to the HDMI.
