So I received the board and since I had all the accessories needed to start it up, except the power source I decided to buy one off of Amazon. It has all the right specification except now that I have it, it does not fit with the Parallella board's power connector. So my question is what plug size works for the power connector?

The exact rating is:
A high quality 2000mA rated 5V DC power supply with 5.5mm OD / 2.1mm ID plug
I recommend buying from a reliable distributor. We had lots of issues with cheap 2A supplies bought from Amazon:

The DC connector is often referred to as a "Type M barrel".

sebraa,
I'm pretty sure the post you are replying to is a spam post, not a genuine question. (The plan would be for the spammer to come back at a later date and edit their signature to include a spam link.) There are quite a few examples of this sprinkled around the forum, along with the more obvious spam attacks that we have to endure.
