Anker hub okay to use?

hi all,
may be paranoid but want to check if anyone knows if it's okay to use the following anker hub on my Kickstarter unit?

It's a 4 port powered usb.

It's a USB3.0 hub when the Parallella port is USB2.0. The hub may be backwards compatible - but perhaps it's a bit OTT for this?
Also there's no indication that it does NOT back-feed power to the host.

But thanks for the link - I'm on the lookout for a USB3.0 hub for other reasons.

It does feedback power by the way.... Tested it on a few Pi's i have knocking around - Not risking using it in Parallella
