Power specifications

Postby ryanobjc » Mon Mar 10, 2014 9:58 pm

So the power brick should be 5VDC, 2 A, but what about the plug? Yes, the size, but I heard that DC voltage frequently has 'positive' and 'negative' and you can't get it wrong?

ryanobjc,

The plug should be 2.1mm x 5.5mm and the polarity should be center positive. Listed below, is a link for the same adapter that ships with the accessory bundle.

Thanks! I was racking my brain for the polarity... I don't have a lot of hardware hacking resources, so if I get the wrong one, it would be a pain.

Also these side-facing wall adapters are kind of ironic... since so many power strips have adapted to the other kind, this kind is often not compatible!
