I managed to get my parallela to boot up once to the login screen. While I went to go get a USB hub I left it at that screen. When I came back, the screen was black. I went ahead and hit SW2 which I presume is the reset switch. This appears to have caused a reset because the fan I hooked up to it started running faster temporarily implying that more power was available to it likely due to a reset.
Then the first/only thing that came up was this written across the top of the screen:
plymouthd: ply-terminal.c:611: ply_terminal_open: Assertion `termina != ((void *)0)' failed.
Anyone have any idea what it means? The results I looked through on google rather than these forums seemed to point to chromebook issues, but I'm obviously not on a chromebook.
Maybe this is just a transient thing. I'll try using the switch again to reset it. If that fails I'll pull power for awhile and restart it again. I wanted to log this issue just in case others are having it and possibly to get help if I can't get around it.
