Power numbers for Epiphany III

Postby jar » Mon Mar 16, 2015 9:53 pm

I need a good reference for power for a publication on the Epiphany III on the Parallella.

In the figure on page 26 of the Epiphany III datasheet and attached below, it seems to indicate that the chip, operating at 600 MHz (Parallella's Epiphany clock, right?) and ~0.86 volts has a power consumption of ~680 mW. Could someone who knows confirm this power number and/or provide the raw data? After all, one of the major selling points of the architecture is the high energy efficiency in terms of flops/watt.

Also, regarding the datasheet, the figure would be better if the axes were labelled.

Regards,
James

James,
The y axis is current. Send me an email and I will send you the raw data.
