Specification[s] question.

Postby dee.em.kee » Mon Feb 29, 2016 2:32 pm

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and have a couple of questions. We're thinking about using this board in a harsh environment :

- Can the board operate in temperatures < 0 degree C ? [?Embedded version?]

- Are the connectors robust for an environment where there is a lot of vibration ?

Please advice, thank you in advance.

Parallellais meant for research and development. What are you trying to do? If you are trying to deploy you are on your own. That being said, samtec, ethernet, and barrel connectors are pretty tough. Usb and hdmi not so much...

I was thinking about using one for a detector project that would reside in a harsh environment. Potentially cold and hot w/ vibration. I was curious to find whether someone has employed one in an environment outside of the ranges specified in the documentation.

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, but I don't have the test data.
