Posted: Tue Dec 25, 2012 12:05 pmas far as I understood you are wrong. there were 2 topics about stalling: when you use the same register for reading and then for calculating, then there will be a stall because first the read must finish. but if the registers differ, then sometimes it could still be stalling when the ressources offered by the processor are all occupied, and this is what you are talking about. it's just your example that doesn't fit.
