Hi,
Could we use the ZyBo board from Digilent Inc? Or any of the new Hard Kernel boards? for displaying the HDMI.
Kind Regards,
Julian.

The ZyBo is the cut down Zedboard, it has HDMI outout.
The HardKernel Boards, ODROID etc, are Pi's on steroids.

Thanks!
Zybo maybe can only be used as a host, because it doesn't have a GPU.

Yes as the ZyBo has a Zync 7010 chip on board it would need a GPU to be written in VHDL.
Possible and doable, and would release room on the Parallella.
I need to try and do a comparason between the various HardKernel boards and the Pi.
I know the HardKernel boards are way more expensive than the Pi but you do get more Bang for Buck.

I have just bought the HardKernel ODROID U3 hopefully be here in 7 days.
Npw just need to look at the instructions Shodruk did for the RPi and see if they work of the U3.
All I need now is my Parallella.......
Kind Regards,
Julian.
