I changed now to the headless bitstream and ran it now about 60 times without any error...
At least I'm happy so

That is really good news! Looks like the issue on your board was solved by a new reset circuit implementation in the FPGA. The new FPGA bit stream includes a fix to the reset "errata item" found in E16G301 datasheet.

I'm having the matmul failing most of the time issue. I tried running epiphany-examples/archive/e-test, I had to copy test/common/src/test_common.c for the definition of e_write_ack to get it to compile, and it says BAD: CHIP FAILED!!!! all the time. This test looks old and unmaintained. Is there a more recent version of this I should run?
