Dell Monitor 1707FPt Doesn't Work

Dell Monitor 1707FPt does not sync up or display when connected and booting the Parallella board with the latest Ubuntu image. This monitor has a 4:3 aspect ratio, which may be part of the problem. We have other embedded computer boards that only work with this type monitor, but don't work with 16:9 aspect ratio monitors. When I connected a Dell 1909W (16:9 aspect ratio) everything worked fine.

Best bet is to try another monitor to make sure the problem is the specific monitor or any monitor. Does your TV have HDMI in?
