Check you have the correct files copied to the BOOT sector of the SD card. This looks like the board is alive, but not booting. HDMI and Ethernet will only work after boot.

Thanks for the reply, I had already tried re-writing the image to the SD card,
and tried again after reading your post. No changes.

Any other thoughts on this? I'm really stuck.

@ darknist - you don't mention using a powered USB hub in your set up

BTW - like your fan picture :idea: I'm using the same longer stand-offs but I will need to have the 80cm fan at 90 degrees ** to cool a stacked pair of boards.
