Node.js?

Tried compiling and running node.js on the Parallella tonight and the build went fine but when I try to invoke it I get a "Segmentation Fault".
I plan on doing some general SF troubleshooting, but are there anything peculiar about the Parallella that would make it incompatible with node.js?

That's a known issue when running V8 on ARM HardFloat: the snapshot feature it uses for quicker start-up is not supported.
Details in this Stack Overflow thread:
Bug report in Node:
Step by step compilation for others that might want to do it:
In short, configure with the option "--without-snapshot".
I haven't tried yet on the Parallella; could you report here whether that works in this case?

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot and let you know how it goes.

Looks like that configure flag did the trick, thanks AlbertoGP!
