Board modification

Before I try powering on my Parallela board I would like to find out whether the modifications suggested in one of the forums have been done, but I cannot find the relevant post.

I think the modification was the removal of the USB interface chip U17 but I could very easily be wrong.

My board is #3064, shipped 5/15/2014.

Could somebody please point me to the discussion about this modification.

I found the answer at

U13 not U17 was removed and bridged by a 0 ohm resistor.
