apt-get update --> GPG error

Postby rheiland » Sun Mar 29, 2015 10:20 am

Hi,

I'm just getting back to my parallella after a long absence and have the following issue:

$ uname -a
Linux linaro-nano 3.12.0-g0bc9c3a-dirty #6 SMP PREEMPT Wed Jan 29 10:25:25 CET 2014 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux
$ sudo apt-get update
...
W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net trusty Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 8ACD4DBB39A6ED25

Before I shoot myself in the foot attempting wrong 'solutions', perhaps someone could enlighten me? Thanks!

Uh, replying to myself... the following did the trick apparently.

$ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv-keys 8ACD4DBB39A6ED25

Onward to the next problem!
