Parallella Community

I used my Parallella over the weekend and everything was fine until Sunday afternoon (yesterday). The system now freezes up a few seconds after I log on.

This freeze up does not occur instantly, but only a few seconds after logging on; before it goes to the the Desktop, the mouse cursor just stops moving even after I try to move it.

I am unsure what to do now.

I also have two questions: 1. Is there any way to bypass the password altogether? I control the micro-SD cards and that should be enough security.

2. What is the format of the Paraellella? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit?

It may be the thermal daemon. You may have a couple options, including using a fan to cool it.

Have you tried logging in as a different user?
