Mineral cooling

There are plenty of mineral cooling threads at places like overclock.net or tomshardware out there and here is one of the crazier ones:

I've wanted to do this for a while so first one too it should post pictures and a how-to.
I spoke with a friend of mine in Oxford who is an engineer and he said that generally there isn't much to worry about if one uses the same mineral oil that other computers use. Acidity is a question for how long it might go without having some corrosion/deterioration but that would be so far off that for an "experiment" of sorts-it shouldn't be an issue. We were going to do this in a new fish-tank since it can hold it. The question really is, do you want to try it for an experiment and just see if it can work as proof-of-concept, or does it have to look pretty too?

The neat factor is way up there, but I wouldn't want to mess with it. Just think of the mess you'll have to deal with anytime you want to work on your system. Not to mention voiding warranties on a high end system like that could be money down the drain if something goes wrong.
