hi all,
i am a newbie to parallella board (had experience with altera fpga which is differnet one)
i am using 18 core xc7z010 parallella board. inside my sd card " Ubuntu 15.04 (GNU/Linux 4.6.0+ armv7l)" is running.( getting it on start up)
i am trying to do https://github.com/Kirill888/parallella-fpga-dummy-io/tree/master/sample this example and i reached
Then reboot parallella. After reboot verify that new device tree is being used:

dtc -I fs -O dts /proc/device-tree | grep generic-uio

so when i try the next step
Verify that UIO driver picked up our new my_mult device:

ls -l /dev/uio0
ls -l /sys/class/uio/uio0/
cat /sys/class/uio/uio0/name

its showing there is no file or directory and if i skip it and runs "sudo ./uio_mult_test " its throwing error like there is no "uio"

so how can i solve this .. can anybody suggest a solution for this ?
in that example they are telling something under "Notes about Linux Kernel"
if i do that , will i lost all my data in the sd card ?
i think my paraubuntu is the latest version !!!
can anybody give a suggestion to fix this or a way around this problem ?
any help is really appreciated

i am using vivado 2018.1

thanks and regards
