Virtualization: Hypervisor for Parallella

Virtualization: Hypervisor for Parallella

Postby stevenong_2006 » Mon Sep 23, 2013 11:15 pm

Hi all,
My name is Steven Ong. I am a software engineer as the same time a graduate student. I currently researching Virtualization and ran across the Parallella. I think the Parallella has a great potential for virtualization. I'm planning (among other things) to try Xen (http://www.xenproject.org/) on the Parallella once I got the board. Since Xen is `type 1 hypervisor`, I may need to tinkering with the kernel in order to get it to work.

Any thought on this?

Best regards,
Steven

I would be very interested if you could get Xen working on the Parallella. Any luck as yet?
