Earlier this week the first reports of Parallella in the wild started to come in, with ubii and ed2k posting details of initial experiences to the forum, and Yaniv quickly putting together a getting started guide for the prototype boards. Looking forward to hearing further details as the remaining prototypes arrive!
Over on the Adepteva website Roman posted a guide to measuring the power consumption of the Epiphany chip on the prototypes, complete with annotated photographs, which will be invaluable to those with low power applications in mind.
I put together a summary of Parallella as a guest post for linux.com, the Linux Foundation have now posted this and it’s really great to see the level of interest from their community.
