German/European power supply known to work?

Postby CIB » Mon Mar 31, 2014 3:14 pm

So I'm not actually quite certain about how this compatibility thing works, but apparently there's a standard(Europlug something or other) that works in most of Europe, and that's what I'm asking about.

So lots of people seem to be having trouble with the power supply. Is there a power supply for Europe that's proven to work with the parallella? Would be good to know, I don't want to fry my $100 board because I ordered the wrong power supply.

The 2.0 A T2301ST from Stontronics works OK for me:

I've also got an older 2.5 A S2301ST, but that doesn't seem to be made any more.

I'm going to try this one http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004S7XYP4/

Can't tell you yet whether it works, as my board hasn't arrived yet.

I bought a Firstcom A471 (http://www.ebay.de/itm/251044151377), works fine.
