Hi,
I have access to another Zynq-Evalboard-Schematic, I will check the reset connection on Monday, but if i remember correctly the JTAG has connection to a reset.
I am using the SDK for the Zynq. And I already had problems unbricking Zynq on a testboard, where the reset was not connected.
Maybe there are other ways to reset the Zynq, but I just haven't seen them.
So I would just feel safer, If I could connect a Xilinx Plattform Cable to the board, reset the Zynq and have full access to it.

on the other hand, it is no ones job here, to let me feel safer...
