ND ranges in OpenCL - a Short Tutorial

Postby nickoppen » Fri Sep 05, 2014 11:37 pm

Hi,

The next step in my plodding journey to learn OpenCL was nd ranges. The mandelbrot example in my last post used the calls clndrange_init1D and forka. I spent a little time figuring out what these are and how they work and I've written up my findings here: .

I generally write these posts up at night so if anything does not make sense, please let me know.

Major Opps here. I think I made a mistake in the clndrange_init2D example. I'm reviewing the post. Stay tuned.
