The problem is that once booted, it becomes very hard to find large contiguous area of memory free. And you'd have to adapt the softare running on the epiphany as well because of changing base addresse.

Oh sorry, in the ZedBoard, having 512MB of memory, the address range is 0x1e000000 -> 0x1fffffff. The EMEM_BASE_ADDRESS 0x1e000000 address you see in the HDF becomes 0x3e000000 in the Parallella.
