Thanks for sharing information. Are you on desktop screen or terminal? Did you test run the parallella examples? I have 7010Zynq+head board, and I am still struggling with both 2014 Ubuntu (head) and 2015 Pubuntu(headless) and cannot run examples.

The example I had in mind was mandelbrot. All other examples that require graphics give similar error messages. I installed lxde on headless 7010z linux 2015. Before that I had to do some upgrade and update. It is not perfect. It does not shut down properly.
