Chrome Native Client (Nacl)

Postby mattzab » Tue Mar 24, 2015 6:55 pm

Hello,

If I were to run Ubuntu on a Parallella board and use Google's Chrome Native Client to run online applications, would this work correctly?
Has anyone tried this or can someone point me in the right direction on some reading material on the subject?
Here's a link to Chrome Native Client:

According to the technical overview, it should be able to run the Native Client application independent of OS or architecture instructions. If I'm using Chrome on Ubuntu on Parallella, what ensures that the 16 cores will be utilized instead of just running the application only in ARM?

I sure hope I'm making sense. I'm new to Parallella and in fact don't yet have one.
I'm sure the information is out there, but in doing a few searches I couldn't find it on the forum.

Please let me know.

Thanks!
