migrate to Epiphany Drivers 2.0

Postby ed2k » Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:21 pm

couple of questions for the new driver code hosted at https://github.com/Adapteva/epiphany-libs

Does it support zed_E16G3_512mb? I saw some posts mentioned it is mainly for the new 64core board.
The E-server, E-util, and E-libs are commented out in build.sh, are they obsolete?

Thanks,

The 4.13.03.30 drivers now support both systems, E16 and E64. The configuration is made at run-time, as described in the SDK Reference manual.

{for reference, the previous version was an unofficial release, that indeed supported only the E64 boards out-of-the-box}

The make statements for those elements should be uncommented. I probably uploaded a working copy. I'll fix, thanks.

I submitted a patch to support cross compilation. it is much faster to build everything with a normal laptop and then rsync to the board. suggest to make this default development model.
