Parallella Community

The original shipping estimate on kickstarter was May. Since May is basically over, and there's been no updates posted, I'm wondering if anyone has any information about when the boards are likely to ship. I realize there's a lot going on over there, but some kind of post somewhere would be helpful for the backers that have waited patiently even through the original estimate.

It was mentioned on that the first 100 Parallella were going to be sent out to the kickstarter backers who signed up for Parallella early access,
they are aiming to send these Parallella out in the first two weeks of June, expect the rest to ship sometime after that.

Thanks for pointing that post out Claggy. I guess I didn't really expect to see shipping updates in a post titled "Parallella board now runs Ubuntu", so I skipped over that one a few times.

Any further word on cases for the board ? I would expect if shipping is to begin in June the case would have to be designed by now, hopefully it is a stackable design...

In the kickstarter campaign it was said that the early-access-backers and developer-backers will receive their boards two month before the ordinary backers. In conclusion we may expect our boards in august.

Adapteva is kind of busy getting boards ready for shipping so in the meanwhile, there is this:
