Parallella Community

Does parallella must be connected to a Zedboard? What is the function of Zedboard? I am not familiar with that. The parallella board itself already have those connections right? (like USB, Power, HDMI etc..). And is zedboard part of the parallella package or I must buy it separately? Because in the website of online shop, zedboard is not in the description of purchase.

The zedboard was just the zynq platform used in the early prototypes (that were essentially a zedboard + a FMC card with the epiphany).

In the final parallella board the zedboard plays no role at all ... The parallella is fully self contained.
