Parallella Community

I'm confused by all the excitement about this both here and on the ks page. It's basically a copy of all the recent updates. This is the second time we're 100% ok. More importantly, when you preface your "schedule" with "We still can't disclose anything concrete", doesn't that make the schedule meaningless? The thing I don't understand is that if this thing is so close to completion, why are the estimates still not more concrete?

I don't know, this whole thing appears to be very complicated to be passing judgement just yet. The operative statement:

"We still can't disclose anything concrete but I can say that we'll make a major announcement next week and that the Parallella project is 100% safely back on track!!!"

I hate to speculate, but to me, when someone says "disclose", that says legal trouble of some kind. The way it's worded, coupled with the "non-technical reasons", it's like they're under NDA or a confidentiality agreement. Maybe whatever was going down in October (manufacturer worker strike, former employee lawsuit threats, supplier/IP contract issues?) got settled and things really are moving now. I'd like to stay optimistic if I can.

Meh. Maybe I'm going to have my pre-order board by christmas 2014? Never lose hope!

Oh hey, look, I was mostly right (Adapteva under NDA because of U.S. trade law), except that I was pretty much wrong about my speculations (no strikes, no lawsuits, no apaprent contract issues). Totally hilarious how haphazard speculation can get.
