Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but the Update is posted on, and presumably aimed at, Kickstarters.

"Build of remaining Kickstarter units starting March 5th". Good news indeed for Kickstarters!

What does this mean for those of us who missed out on KS, but are mere Pre-Orderers?
Where do we fit in the timetable?

I hope so too.
But the kickstarter version board uses Zynq7020, the $99 pre-order ver. uses Zynq7010...

The ks had several tiers for 64-core boards.

As understand the 64 core tier that I pledged for was only going to be 64 core if the stretch goal was met and as it was not met I'm supposed to be getting 2 16 core boards. I'm happy either way.

As a 2 x E-16 boarder, me too!

It's a pleasant surprise to see the E-64 progressing so well. But I hope that building the E-64 boards does not interfere with the build/delivery schedule of (my) E-16 boards.

E-64 boards might sound more interesting to the big boys, er, like Ericsson. Perhaps that's where the extra funding has come from ...
