Is anyone using this board to run a Haddop cluster?

how did you set it up? what distrib. are you using

As far as actually using hadoop on the parallella, well, I imagine you could use an ARM compatible version of java to run it, but you'd be limited to the ARM cores only. I'm sure someone will look into writing some code that does map-reduce on the Epiphany (I might even do it myself), but unless someone extends OpenJava or something, you won't maximize the use of the parallella.

That, and I don't think anybody who went for a cluster or mini-cluster reward actually has their cluster yet. So there's no robust cross-section of Parallella performance in general yet.
