This is much simpler than the CardBus solution, and may actually be a very good solution for Parallella video acceleration - provided we can write or port drivers for such a device.

I was actually thinking that for rendering one may use a type of raytracing.
each parallela core handles a bunch of items and these are dispersed between them. If you are talking just about a simple UI with no reflections and so on it is pretty simple.
if using several reflections things get complicated.
But like this you can use one board to ask for pixels and the rest of the boards sorting them.
For updates on UI the same thing applies only that the IO input is passed to the zone of the screen that is referring to or has current focus.
But the connection north south east west has to be solved to fully take advantage of parallel processing capabilities of adapteva cores.
