hi is there an upgraded parallella board in the works or is there a plan for E-V parallella?

given that the chip supposedly has the option of general purpose IO, and it's 64mb on chip memory is much more serious (we used to do entire 3d games on a 32mb machine, the playstation 2), I wonder if they could release this chip in a simpler format , e.g. not needing the ZYNQ for support, or in a format that could be plugged directly into a raspberry pi (or arduino ?) -

See the Movidius Fathom for comparison? http://www.theverge.com/2016/4/28/11510430/movidius-fathom-neural-compute-stick-myriad-2-chip ). The fathom just sticks into a USB port; I would want camera inputs going directly into the epiphany.

These last months there is no answer for price/availability/delays here:

so I try here in this post.

Any piece of information may help for motivation: price, availability, delays.
And I'd prefer bad news - not before 2018... the Army bought the project... the project cannot continue without Andreas... E5 will cost 10,000 $... the Martians stealed the prototype that was sent to TSMC - rather than no news at all.
We can imagine anything with no news at all.
