Making the rev0 more usable

HDMi port on Gen0 is incorrectly wired (turns out that type D connectors have different pinouts) - if you could get a direct (straight through pinout) HDMI cable with a type D on the end, in theory it will work.
Practically - building a cable like this is not a piece of cake!

I recommend(advertise) my gl-streaming to rev0 users.
With this, you can output 3D graphics from rev0 Parallella through Raspberry Pi's HDMI port.

Ok, bummer. I have a short micro to female converter I was going to use anyway - i suppose it should be possible to cut and re-splice that although with the scale of everything it isn't going to be easy.

What's happened is that it's wired up as type a in that diagram, but it should be type d, is that correct?

That's correct. The Gen0 Pinout on the Type D is wrong (it was done as Type A) - so you would need to cut and respilce this as a straight through cable.
