I would be really interested in this for Hadoop environments - any news on this topic.
Has anyone created a 1U parallella server or does anyone know of a roadmap for such ?

To date, no one has created a 1U server and Adapteva does not have a roadmap for this. Would you be interested in designing one?

There was a mention earlier in this thread of a PCI card - thats not a bad idea - you have everything you need in a normal pc but an 80Gflop upgrade would be nice.
