I read somewhere that ks project creators should estimate how much time they think it will take to ship their product and multiply it by two. Obviously, Adapteva is in a bit of a pickle because they'll be damned if they tell us that there have been delays yet again and damned if they say nothing and there are delays anyways. In any case, it's not really productive to continue posting in this thread for much longer, though I guess it gives us something to do besides twiddling our thumbs........

Althought I think some backers are right to complain because there has been a lack of information for a while, I feel some are being very cruel.

From KickStarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/hello?ref=nav
"6. Backing a project is more than just giving someone money.
It’s supporting their dream to create something that they want to see exist in the world. People rally around their friends’ projects, fans support people they admire, and others simply come to Kickstarter to be inspired by new ideas. Some projects take longer than anticipated, but creators who are transparent about issues and delays usually find their backers to be understanding."

Maybe the team was somehow naif with schedules. All of us who work in real world find every day than reallity is always faster than our wishes and our mind. And anyone who never had a delay in an important work can throw the first stone. Sometimes we underestimate effort, some times we just make mistakes, some times a bit lack of experience in a particular subject, some times we suffer other people mistakes.

I read really stupid thing about Ponzi Schemes and many other stupid things. Not comment on this.

Said that. I really beleave that such a team with this background like Andreas Olofsson, Yaniv Sapir, and Graham Celine (I carefully read LinkedIn) are risking a lot more than $200 that for me is really nothing compared with their professional and personal reputations.

I believe this is a very first step towards something a lot better. Even if it comes late on time (other companies had 30 years and we are still waiting), supporting "their" dream is becoming supporting "our" dream something that "we" want to see exist in the world.

$200 for this dream is very very little.

Hope everything goes fine.

Damaraland (thank you for the inspiring words!) and everyone else who has been so supportive despite our significant delays. Thank you!!! In our darkest hour, it was a huge morale boost to know that most of you hadn't given up on us.
