Those updates don't really tell us much about pre-order shipping dates, other than that adapteva is not dead(yet). Thousands of boards need to be shipped to KS backers before they can even start to ship out pre-order boards, and there's no indication they even have the parts for the pre-order boards ready. I do believe that if they felt confident to ship the pre-order boards anytime soon(coming months), they would have mentioned it.

We expect to receive the remaining parts for the full production run in house in March, so that we can start manufacturing every Parallella destined for our all of our remaining backers and shop customers. Once we receive the components, the manufacturing turnaround should be about 15 days.
